Player Bio

Clayton Floyd is a Dutch-South African cricketer who represents the Netherlands at the international level.

A slow left-arm orthodox bowler, Floyd received his maiden international call-up during the 2019 Ireland Tri-Nation T20I Series in 2019. He made his debut against Scotland in a losing cause. Scotland amassed 252 runs in that game and Floyd was taken to the cleaners. He conceded 37 runs in 3 overs and had a horror debut, to say the least.

In November 2021, Floyd was included in the Dutch ODI squad for their upcoming tour of South Africa. This is a 'make or break' series for Floyd who is under tremendous pressure to justify his selection in the national squad.

So far, he has played just 2 T20I matches and has picked up just 1 wicket, with an economy of more than 10 runs per over.
