While indomitable Australia and India finished in the top two of the Group A points table, England and the White Ferns claimed first and second spots respectively in the Group B points rankings.

The Natalie Sciver-led side, with an aim of extending their winning streak, will take on team India in the first semi-final of the Women's T20 Competition.

England have been one of the most dominant outfits throughout the league stage, winning all three games with ridiculous ease.

Equipped with a lethal bowling attack and boasting a quality batting lineup, the host nation will start as favourites against the Women in Blue.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team India, on the other hand, suffered an early hiccup against Australia in the first match, but they made a resounding comeback in the tournament to win their last two fixtures against the arch-rivals Pakistan and Barbados Women.

Heading into the all-important clash on Saturday, they will be looking to seal a spot in the finals with a victory over confident England.

Renuka Singh Thakur will play an important role for India

The 26-year-old right-arm medium pacer Renuka Singh has been the talk of the town. On the back of some exceptional performances from the Shimla pacer, India have managed to win a couple of matches in the ongoing showpiece event.

She is currently the leading wicket-taker in the CWG 2022 with nine wickets to her name from three matches. In the recent match against Barbados Women, Renuka finished the game with sensational figures of 4/10 and it was her second four-wicket haul in the Commonwealth Games.

Earlier, in the opening match against mighty Australians, she registered figures of 4/18. Heading into the semi-final, the fiery medium pacer will look to continue her imperious run of form and buy a CWG finals ticket for her team.
